In order to attach an existing Kubernetes cluster to Containership Cloud you must first configure an API endpoint. This endpoint must be publicly accessible. We encourage setting up a DNS record that points to your API server's address, so that you do not have to reconfigure Containership Cloud, if the IP address changes in the future.

The example above assumes that a DNS record exists for myk8sapi.io , that points to the IP address listed in the server key, in your ~/.kube/config file (you may also be able to obtain this value from your cloud provider's web console). Be sure to set the protocol, and optional port (if not using ports80 or 443 , that's implied by the protocol).
